The Package

The doorbell rang about noon today. When I opened the door, there was the mailman carrying a package. I thought...yay...I got something. ha It was for Brandon. Not sure if I have mentioned or not, but we have one talented Martha Stewart in the family! It is Kendall's MiMi, my sister in law, Michelle. She is always coming up with new, cute and creative things. As soon as Brandon started opening the package, I ran to get the camera - you can never trust this girl! Wasn't sure if it was going to be a Bedazzled speedo for the beach or what. Anyway, since they moved to Indiana and weren't able to come to Brandon's graduation, they sent him a little something. MiMi made graduation hat cookies, a tassel with the year '10 on it, and a picture from each of the kids! It was TOO CUTE!

These are the cookies she sent...too bad we already ate them all. ha!

B even went and put on his gear and hung the tassel from his helmet.

The best by far!

Mom, mommy, momma, mother...whatever you want to call her, mine is the best! Yesterday was Mother's Day and it was great. I know there are a lot of mothers and daughters who are not close, some that may not even talk, but I couldn't imagine my life without my mom! She means the world to me. For everyone who knows her, you know that she will bend over backwards and do what she can for you. She is always there when you need someone to talk to, vent to, or just to listen. I am so thankful that God picked me out for her. She goes above and beyond the true meaning of MOM! Thank you for everything you do for me and my family! I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for you (and dad - but hey...his post is next month :)) I love you mom!

You're the best!

3 proud generations!

I can't believe it - I didn't get one picture of Kendall and I together today. She was too busy and having way to much fun! Thank you God for making me Kendall's momma!

Fun in Fort Worth

This past Saturday, Brandon, Kendall and I went downtown to the stockyards with Bryan, Julie and Cole. There were having some sort of "pioneer days" event so we thought it would be fun to take the kids. Little did we know they would be shooting cannon's off all day long! I jumped about a foot higher everytime they went off. When we left there, we went to ride the train over by the Trinity River. Cole had been on the train before, but it was a first for Kendall. She seemed to really enjoy it though!

Julie and Cole (isn't he cute?!)
