More on the Twins!

They look great! We had our first appointment with the high risk/specialist/perinatologist - however you want to refer to him. He was GREAT! I really liked him and his nurse. My mom went with us - THANK YOU! I wanted her to go since it was my first appt with this doctor. Not to mention, when we found out we were having twins, Brandon and I didn't hear a word after that. So it was good to have another set of ears just in case. Dr. Goldaber is pretty sure that they are "di-di" twins. (There are 3 types, and "di-di" is the least risky, so we are very thankful for that!) When I checked in, they asked if I wanted to purchase a DVD. Of course, Nana wanted one but what we didn't know was that if I bring it back every time, they will keep adding on to it at each appointment. How cool!

It is so neat to see them moving around so often! I will be 12 weeks on Monday (end of 1st trimester!!) One baby measured 11 weeks and 4 days and the other baby measured 12 weeks. (I don't remember which was which though. I think B was the bigger one.) The doctor said that is great! One heartbeat was 165 and the other is 167. Everything looks great!!

And then there were four......

Let's make that FIVE! As I am sure most of you already know, Brandon and I expecting...TWINS. EEEKKK!!! We found out I was pregnant the end of February. I had the normal blood draw to see what my levels were. The first levels were 62. The second set was 207. (They are suppose to double every 48 hours.)My third set was 41,735. Uhhhh, that's a little more than double...ha. My doctor wanted me to come in and have a sonogram done. That is when we found out there were two little beans in there. Boy were we shocked! It has started to sink in a little bit more now that we had this sonogram done last week.


Please pray that everything goes smoothly and these little bake as long as they can with no complications.

Easter 2012

This year we did Easter at Brandon's cousins house. They had a bounce house, bubbles, egg hunt, brisket and everything else you could imagine. The kids got to jump on the bounce house for a little bit before it started raining. Right when the kids started to hunt eggs, it started raining...but it didn't slow any of them down! They had a great time! Thank you Bryan and Julie for hosting a wonderful get together. Here are some pictures...in no particular order.

Kendall loves it when her Uncle Shane, MiMi and "the kids" (Addison, Knox and Aisley) come to visit! She has so much fun playing with everyone.

We tried to do pictures in the bluebonnets, but that was kind of crazy!
