My big girl

Kendall is getting so big!! I can't believe that she is 10 months old. She is crawling all over the place - and super fast! She has her two bottom teeth and her top one is about to break through any day now. She is pulling up on everything that she can reach. My baby is taking steps!! She has one of those push walker things...and she is walking behind it. I am going to try to put the video of her on here...but I am not sure that I know how. So let me know if it doesn't work. Oh yeah, we had to lower her bed too! Playing in the bed after daddy lowered it. Pushing her walker

Yes - I painted her piggies!

9 months!!

I can't believe it - my little baby is 9 months old today! We went for her "well check" yesterday and she weighed 14.5 lbs. Go Kendall! Plus, she didn't have to get any shots! But I have to take her to get blood taken to check for anemia. (I was told they do that for every 9 month appt.) I will probably take her tomorrow, so I will let you know the results when I hear something!

Thanksgiving!

I know I am a little late - but hey - better late then never, right?!

I have so much to be thankful for, I don't even know where to begin! I am so thankful for my precious daughter and my wonderful husband! My family is by far the best that anyone could ever ask for! God has granted me so many new stepping stones in my life this year and I thank Him each day for it!

Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving! Enjoy.

Ear Infections...

I REALLY DON'T LIKE THEM!!! My poor baby has her first ear infection. We noticed that she really wasn't being herself - she wasn't eating! That is not like you. Those of you who have seen her eat know what I am talking about. Anyways - she had a slight fever (99*) when I took her to school yesterday morning. To be honest, I was kind of waiting on a phone call all day to come get her. They didn't, but when I got there to pick her up, she was just sitting in the swing staring into space. Usually when she sees me she gets a big smile on her face...but she didn't. It was almost like I was invisible. So of course I went straight to her and her poor little eyes were all glazed over and she felt so warm. So I went ahead and took her temp and it was 100*. We got home and all she wanted you to do was hold her. I gave her some motrin (works wonders) and she finally got down and played with her toys a little bit in the floor. She still didn't want to eat...no food, no formula, no juice, no water. Now I was really getting concerned. I gave her a bath in her new little ducky bath tub and she had a good time. But she was ready to get out pretty quick. So I got her pj's on her and put her in bed.

About 12am she wakes up crying - and I mean crying hard. So I go running in there and it feels like she is on fire!!! I took her temp and it was 103* and thank goodness it was time for motrin again. Needless to say, she stayed in our bed the rest of the night. She was up every couple of hours. Finally, I got up at 6am this morning (motrin time again) and got ready and headed to the doctors office with her. What it boiled down to was her having an ear infection...my poor little angel.

Oh yeah...while we were there and she was already mad because Nurse Leslie was already digging in her ears - we went ahead and got the flu shot. I know, I know...bad mom!
