Surfside Beach 2009 (camera #1)

Here are some pictures from our annual family vacation that we take the week of July 4th. Many of you have been asking me for them, but it seems to take me forever to download from cameras, edit and weed some out that I am just now getting to it. I still have another camera to download pics from, but until then...ENJOY!

Kendall and Mackenna had so much fun "swimming" and playing together!

So behind...

Wow...I am so behind! Let's see if I can play catch up!

First of all...Father's Day 2009!

I have the best dad that ANYONE could ever ask for! He has always treated me like his little princess - still to this day. I appreciate everything he has ever done, and will ever do for me! I love you with all my heart daddy!

Kendall couldn't have gotten a better dad for her! Brandon is so good with her and I love to watch them play together. I can't wait to see them learn and grow with each other just like my dad and I did! Kendall loves her daddy!

I thank God everyday for my dad and Brandon! Love you guys!

We all got together at my parents house for a cookout and a swim. It was so fun!

And of course Wrigley wanted his picture taken too.

To me...Grandmother

On May 5, 2009, we lost a wonder person! She was known as mother, daughter, wife, sister and friend, but to me she was Grandmother. I have so many great memories of growing up and spending time with my grandmother and grandad (my moms parents). As I am sure all of you know, we are a pretty "close knit" family! When my grandad passed away many years ago, we knew that he was watching over us and that we would see him again when it was our time. Well on May 5th, God was ready for them to meet up again. We were all very sad when it was her time, but I think what made it special was the fact that the day that grandmother passed away - would have been her and grandad's 60th wedding anniv! I just think that is so special.

As if losing a loved one, particually when they are a mother, isn't hard enough. It was especially hard since the funeral was on Friday and two days later was mothers day. We wanted to show my mom how much we all thought of Grandmother and her. Michell, Shane, Brandon, me and all of our kids went in and bought a "memorial cross and rose bush" to have out at my parents house. It was so sweet! Here are a few pics.

We even had one dozen balloons that we sent to Grandmother on Mothers day.

Once we found the perfect spot to plant it, the guys dug a hole and planted it.

The Final Product! We love you Grandmother! You will always be with us!

Here are a few pictures of all the kids playing later that afternoon.
