Thanksgiving!
I know I am a little late - but hey - better late then never, right?!
I have so much to be thankful for, I don't even know where to begin! I am so thankful for my precious daughter and my wonderful husband! My family is by far the best that anyone could ever ask for! God has granted me so many new stepping stones in my life this year and I thank Him each day for it!
Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving! Enjoy.

Ear Infections...
I REALLY DON'T LIKE THEM!!! My poor baby has her first ear infection. We noticed that she really wasn't being herself - she wasn't eating! That is not like you. Those of you who have seen her eat know what I am talking about. Anyways - she had a slight fever (99*) when I took her to school yesterday morning. To be honest, I was kind of waiting on a phone call all day to come get her. They didn't, but when I got there to pick her up, she was just sitting in the swing staring into space. Usually when she sees me she gets a big smile on her face...but she didn't. It was almost like I was invisible. So of course I went straight to her and her poor little eyes were all glazed over and she felt so warm. So I went ahead and took her temp and it was 100*. We got home and all she wanted you to do was hold her. I gave her some motrin (works wonders) and she finally got down and played with her toys a little bit in the floor. She still didn't want to eat...no food, no formula, no juice, no water. Now I was really getting concerned. I gave her a bath in her new little ducky bath tub and she had a good time. But she was ready to get out pretty quick. So I got her pj's on her and put her in bed.
About 12am she wakes up crying - and I mean crying hard. So I go running in there and it feels like she is on fire!!! I took her temp and it was 103* and thank goodness it was time for motrin again. Needless to say, she stayed in our bed the rest of the night. She was up every couple of hours. Finally, I got up at 6am this morning (motrin time again) and got ready and headed to the doctors office with her. What it boiled down to was her having an ear infection...my poor little angel.
Oh yeah...while we were there and she was already mad because Nurse Leslie was already digging in her ears - we went ahead and got the flu shot. I know, I know...bad mom!

Pumpkin Patch
Brandon, Brad, Liz and I went to our annual pumpkin patch the other day, only this year Kendall was here to join the fun with us. We try and go each year, take pictures, pick out pumpkins and come back to our house to carve and have pizza. I had brought my camera will full intentions to take a lot of pictures...until the dreaded moment: "Honey, your batteries are dead!" Oh great, I said to myself - but thank goodness - Liz had hers!
Can you find Kendall? :)
These are the famous pumpkin carvers!
The finished products:

6 months
Well, my little peanut turned 6 months old last week. After being sick for a week before her 1/2 birthday, she got 5 shots. Let me go back to the week before...I get a call at work from Kendall's daycare saying that I need to come get her because she had 3 diarrhea's that day. (and can't go back for 24 hours.) So I stay home with her on Wednesday and go back to work on Thursday. Come Thursday morning, she had fever. It kept getting higher and higher and higher. There is no way that I could take off work on Friday, so my mom kept her and then took her to the doctor that morning. They said it was just viral and that we had to let it "run it's course and give her motrin." Ha...obvisouly they forgot that I was a first time mom and knew nothing else to do but panic when her fever got to 104.2. Yes, you read it right, 104.2. I took it about 4 times because I just knew I was doing something wrong. I put off calling my mom and kept telling myself "you can do this Stacy!" That lasted about 5 minutes. Being the wonderful mother that I have, she jumped up out of bed and came over to my house at about 5 o'clock in the morning. Needless to say, things got back to normal by Monday and she was able to go to school. Oh - did I forget to mention - Brandon was out of town this whole time for opening weekend of BOW SEASON?!?!
Anyways, Brandon and I took her to the doctor on Thursday of last week for her 6 month well check. The doctor said that everything looks great! She weighed in at 11lbs 13.5oz and a whoppin' 25 inches long! Then came the 5 shots. I didn't think her daddy was going to make it through all of them. As soon as the nurse was done and put her pink camo band-aids on her little legs, her daddy scooped her and up just squeezed her! He wouldn't even put her down to put her back in the carseat. (Can we say - wrapped around his finger?) :) As we were making our appt for her 9 month visit, Brandon was quick to inform me that he was not coming appts where she was getting shots anymore. Little does he know...he is! I love you babe!
All is good now and we thank God each and every day for our little baby girl!
