Big Boat

Kendall got to go on her very first boat ride this weekend thanks to Bryan and Julie (Brandon's cousins)! She didn't like it at first because it was so windy and real choppy out on the lake, but once we got out there and stopped, she was fine! She even kept saying "big boat". Her and Cole(cousin) had a great time. I have a feeling they are going to best of buds! We all had a blast and loved hanging out with great people. Hope to do it again soon.

April showers bring May flowers

Kendall was helping Brandon plant some flowers Saturday once the rain took a little break. What a perfect day to wear her Kitty Cat rainboots that she got for her birthday from her Aunt MiMi, Uncle Shane, and cousins Addison, Knox and Aisley!

Minnie Mouse party

It's official - Little Minne is 2! We went for her well child check on Friday. She has fun playing in the front while waiting for her turn, but when they open that door and call her name, it is a totally different story! The doctor and nurses are super sweet, but I think all Kendall remembers is the shots. She was crying the whole time they were trying to weigh her, but finally got it. She weighed in at a whopping 21.4 pounds and measured 32 inches tall. The doctor is not at all worried about her size, he just says that she will be little. At the rate she is going, she will be about 25 pounds at age 3. (She is in the 1 percentile for her weight - we finally made it on the charts. ha)

On Saturday, we had her birthday party at the park. She had so much fun running around!

Our neighbors, Erin and Jordan, and I took the girls to the bluebonnets to try to get some good pictures. The girls seemed to have a good time, but were so over it towards the end. They would have rather played in the dirt!

THE BIG 2!!!

Our Little Minnie turns 2 tomorrow. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. Kendall keeps us on our toes 24/7, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I am so thankful that God chose Brandon and I to be her parents. Granted it was not a "smooth sailing" pregnancy or delivery, but it was all worth it to be with her each and every day! We are having a birthday party for her at the park on Saturday, so I will be sure to update with pictures once that is finished. I will leave you with this....

For New Year's Eve, Brad and Liz had a little get together, so off we went! We had such a great time hanging out with our best friends! Kendall even made it until midnight. We left at about 12:15 or so and we weren't in the car 5 minutes and she was out! What a real trooper.
